From a photowalk in september 2008.
I found these drops in a fence in the park behind my house.
I was in macro heaven that morning.

Sooooo gorgeous! The time of day is perfect for this picture. Every drop captures the elegance of morning. The dew is so wonderfully aligned like crystal pearls on an emerald chain. And though the scene is natural it has a hidden city feel to it, like a civilized jungle. Every strand of gossamer is a power line and the drops are tiny apartments. At the street level there is a mysterious darkness, immersed in shadows waking to a new day. In the larger apartments the crookedness of life is transparent as you can see everything is upside down. The rich life is not always the good life. Amazing photograph!
