Amur Tiger
Kolmården Zoo, Sweden, August 2011

Kolmården is one of the Swedish zoo's that are running a programme to help saving the Amur tiger. They've had cubs born in the zoo, so it's fair to say that their programme is working.

I just adore how you've captured their personalities into this shot.
The one on the right seems to be serious as if paying careful attention to something, while the other takes a slightly less serious yet interested stare. Both taking the posture of trained performers with grace and poise. If you planned for this shot to be here then congratulations to you, the appearance of aged stone really gives the imagery of tigers roaming through abandoned temples of India. If you didn't then kudos to you're amazing luck.
I simply adore this, its one of those shots that really make people appreciate nature and all its glory.
