Fantasy Forest by Photopathica Fantasy Forest by Photopathica
Can't really remember when I did this, have to check if I have written something on the back of it.
This is one of my personal favorites, I'm very happy with it. I had no thought whatsoever when I started painting, my hand was completely free.

Watercolor on watercolor paper, A5

I'd like to start off by saying, this is a truly great piece. The little details are what really make it great. I love the idea of the colors kind of melting together however, I wish that the right side would be composed of colors that stood out more from the left side. The blue is stunning but the light red of the tree leaves should perhaps be a different, more intense color or perhaps play with the colors of the left tree? Another thing that would increase the aesthetic appeal is perhaps fixing the spikes in the hair. The way it is done is for some reason, drawing my eye away from the beautiful scenery around. Maybe instead of making many little spiky strand make a couple thicker longer ones that would still give it that "messy" look but would draw away from the picture a bit less. As for what I absolutely love here, it's her robe and the path of red she leaves behind her. It just ties the whole thing together very well. Great choice. Above all the blue under the right tree. This makes the whole picture for me. I cannot look away this is just amazing. The rich color of blue contrasting with everything going on. Stunning.

A most original piece. The ladies pose is imaginative,
and her hair is almost exactly the
deep black and sometime wildness of the well-known diva -
Lady In Red - Or - Isolde? by dofaust

- please don't change
the hair... there is a most interesting use of the background
space in this work -its palette and the other colors of this palette
make the piece for me....

How original, but reminds me of a horror movie. On one hand, the beauty of the forest and on the other, all dry and dark.

Great! I imagine this girl walking slowly, dragging his clothes with those petals that seem to follow her in its path! And it was a pleasure ^ ^

Holy crap, you handle watercolors really well. I experimented with them, and they can be a bitch.

yeah, watercolors are very hard to master, i'm still just experimenting with them, so i'm very happy that you think this is done well :D
